The ethnic issue after Typhoon Morakok

It is sad that aboriginal people have lost their original houses after Typhoon Morakok . This was ascribed to unsuitable government housing policies generated from a poor understanding of aboriginal culture and local climate conditions. In this session, we discussed extensively the profound effect by government policies and the vernacular architecture of aboriginal people. Thus, both sustainable houses and cultural confidence can be restored for them. Hopefully, we can guide them to a sustainable living in the future.
